Ways to make an asset available

Hi,

We plan to use AEM assets to manager all the digital assets for a customer. And the customer would like to use those assets in the WebSite and in some mobile apps.

So, in order to have those available they need to be exposed through http/https. And also we would like to get the analytics of usage for the assets.

My question is, what are the available options for this?

As far as I know the ones would be:

• Have a publish instance where the assets will be published to, and a dispatcher in front.
• Use the Static Replication Agent to publish the assets to a file disk and serve them through a web browser;

Is there any recommended option for this?

Dear Francisco,

You can simply look at the apache log and use the likes of Splunk to get aggregated view of your asset usage.

Or you could go for Adobe AEM + Adobe Analytics to get a better view of your asset usage on the site.
