Unable to impersonate in AEM cloud author instance

Unable to impersonate in AEM cloud author instance. any idea what can be the issue here ?

Are you logged in as admin?Also check the user you are trying to impersonate exist in the user console of aem ( not cloud manager).

Please check the access of your "user". If you have logged in as an admin. Then you should be able to impersonate to any user.

Please check in another instance, to check if this is specific to your local instance or any instance where you are trying.

Yeah ,  my user is in admin user group. or you referring to an admin user ?

Hi @PovEim ,

Go to user account which you want to impersonate and add your user as impersonator in the tab .

Thanks, but it doesn't work. The user gets added to the impersonate list in /useradmin# interface. Click save. Then I go to my /assets.html/content/dam click on my profile and type in the user name of the user in the "impersonate as". Get "invalid user" message and get logged out of the DAM.

Thanks @TimothyJ, unfortunately this solution does not work in my case as I am on an on-site AEM, not cloud.
