Time Zone Issue in Prod Author Server

Hi,

We have set the time zone in prod author to COT in start script file under /bin folder while starting of the project but suddenly two days ago time zone was changed to UTC, i don't the reason why it was changed.
To fix this issue again we changed the tome zone to COT (-Duser.timezone=COT') in start script.

Anyone could you please tell me why the time zone was changed automatically in prod author server ?

I'm assuming you are referring to AEM.  You might want to post over in: Adobe Experience Manager
