while using the multi field i have observed that values are stored in the page in different ways.

1) As an Array format

2)As an Json

3) item0,item1...etc.

Can someone help me understand when the multi field values  stored as array/josn/item0..? How multi field dialog structure is related to storing the data in 3 different

ways?smacdonald2008Feike VisserRatna Kumar

If you use Coral 3 Multifield (granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/multifield) - then they are stored as nodes. See this article where we talk about this -- Building Experience Manager Components using Granite/Coral Resource Types

Its granite 2 that stores data as different types. I recommend in 6.3/6/4 - use granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/multifield.
