Hi Team,

We recently updated Apache Felix Jetty Based Http config to disable http and enable just https. We received an error while saving this configuration.

Although now if we try to hit the publish instance we made this config on,it gives Site cannot be reached error.

What canbe done to resolve this and what could be the possible cause of this.

Hi, Sonalik

What kind of error you got while saving this configuration?

What if you revert your change and hit http? Are you able to access it?

After you enabled https did you also provide the port you want to have https on?

Make sure you use the port you gave for https while hitting your publish URL.

Thanks,

Vamsi

Ajax error ,request failed error.

Now that the instance is not reachable ,how can I have the config reverted? Is there any way I can access it from the backend?

Hi, Sonali

If possible can you share the error.log while the issues happened and when you try accessing it?

Thanks,

Hi, Sonali

I recommend you to go here and change your configuration. It is strongly recommended to edit this with care.

Open your quickstart folder where you installed your publish server,

Navigate to - publish\crx-quickstart\launchpad\config\org\apache\felix

Open - "http.config" with text editor and edit your configuration and  restart the instance.

For Eg.,

org.apache.felix.https.enable=B"false"

Please let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks,

Vamsi
