Segmentation-Page hits Not working

Hi,

We are trying to use personlization for anonymous users.

But while using page hits property from sidekick not rendering the specified teaser.

Are we missing any step apart from the online documentation

Hi Ankur,

It should work if you have followed the Segmentation and Campaign documentation. However, in author instance use clientcontext or context hub and see which segment is getting resolved.

you can also debug using browser and check the value in CQ_Analytics object.

If you cant still resolve, Can you put the steps you have followed to create segment, teaser and campaign and will see if you have missed anything

Hi Loki,

Following are the steps-

1.Created a new campaign.

2.Created two new teaser under newly created campaign.

   Teaser 1- Added a image component & content authored a image.

   Teaser 2- Added a image component and content authored a image.

3.Created two segments-

   a.Segment one-With trait as page hits with value as 4.

  b. Segement two-Wth trait as page property (description whose value as test)

4. Mapped each segment with each teaser created above-

     Teaser1-Segment 1

     Teasr2- Segment 2

5. On existing page drag and drop a teaser component from sidekick.

6. Mapped campaign created above in this teaser component.

7. Set the strategy as  clickstream score.

8. Access the page based on the segment teaser will be shown but page hit added as part of segment is not working.

   Ideally segment should be mapped if page hit is 4.

   I have followed these steps.

Please let me know if i have missed any steps.

Can you add the page hit property in the client context and see the value of the same.
