Seeking AEM Expert/Team of Experts for Half-Time Contract

We seek an expert, or team of experts, in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to implement and provide ongoing support in a half-time, contract capacity. This role can be fulfilled by an individual or a skilled, cohesive team.

 

Our AEM Expert(s) will work closely with our clients on critical digital transformation programs which drive the customer experience, optimize costs, create efficiencies and deliver business outcomes, which requires:

 

  • A strong understanding of the Adobe ecosystem
  • Ability to translate marketing needs into AEM solutions, providing both high level systems overviews and customization of components
  • A knack for developing complex solutions
  • Appreciation for developing great working relationships with and delighting our clients 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Working with a Campaign Stars Project Director, lead, plan, and manage assigned digital marketing client engagements and participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including:

    • Setup and configure AEM authoring, publish, and dispatcher environment with Adobe recommended best practices
    • AEM implementation including design, definition, and development of AEM content type models; workflows, templates, and components; use permissions; and integrating AEM 6.x with other products and vendors (such as Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular, and React JS)
    • Documentation of key requirements (functional, non-functional) and pain points
    • Test and audit systems

2. Maintain a strong knowledge of technology trends and impact on the clients’ infrastructure

    • Provide technical advice and direction to associates and developmental project teams 
    • Utilize expertise to consult and develop software to solve complex technical problems
    • Train and mentor others on new technologies

3. Act as a trusted advisor on strategies that align developmental projects with clients’ long-term digital marketing needs

 

Qualifications

 

  • 3 years of Adobe Experience Manager development experience, with some experience in the latest AEM version 6.x
  • Experience analyzing, testing, documenting, and installing projects of medium complexity
  • Experience with Java, HTML5, CSS3, Maven, Eclipse, JSTL tags and/or sling API
  • Familiarity with campaign management platforms (Adobe Campaign or Salesforce Marketing Cloud), and preferably Adobe Audience Manager/DMP 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Desire to work as part of a fast-paced, nimble team 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • 5 years of experience in software application development and maintenance 
  • AEM Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment experience
  • Adobe Target, Campaign and/or Analytics experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer science
  • Experience delivering AEM projects for clients in the software/high tech industry sectors 

 

Position Details:

 

  • 1099 contract position; open duration
  • Approximately 20 hours per week
  • 100% remote
  • Can be filled by a skilled, cohesive team or an individual
