We are having an issue with the CQ5/AEM 5.6 application. We think that any time when there are some connection issues with scene7 and if that happens frequently in the interval of 5-10 min for some time (say about 1 hour) causes the CPU utilization go up (upto 1500%) and CQ5 becomes completely unresponsive and pages do not even load.
We think it is not a coincidence because every these exceptions occure, AEM has the same behaviors. And in order to recover it we have to restart the AEM application.
If these exceptions occur in a longer time frame then AEM becomes slow for some time but then it recovers by itself.

Anybody had the similar experience or have an idea what could be happening? We could not get much information in the logs other than these Scene7 errors.
Any help or input would be great.

Did you follow the AEM Scene7 docs to setup:
https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/cq/5-6-1/administering/integrating_with_adobe_marketing_cloud/scene7.... Scene7 integration
Looks like either a config setup error or you encountered a bug. If you are sure there are no setup errors - consult AEM support by opening a ticket to ensure there are no hotfixes for this issue.
