I am using RTE source edit mode to update certain html snippets and observed that on save. RTE is removing some of html attributes. Suppose for existing <input> tag if i add an attribute as id="mytracker" and name="mytracker" then and save RTE content; on opening the RTE again i observe that id="mytracker" is removed where as name="mytracker" is retained.
Is this expected behaviour? and how to overcome this limitation since source edit option should allow us to author html elements.
