Recommendation for Files Transfer From Shared Drive

All,

 

I am looking for an recommendation on share drive, as we don't want to go with SMB. The requirement states as:

 

  • AEM will be hosted on Linux OS.
  • Static and marketing content need to bring from external system.
  • External System hosted on window environment and all marketing files are on window share drive.

As AEM and External system hosted on different OS hence we are looking common protocol to share file from window to Linux.

 

Do we have any best practice way to achieve this?

Do you want to store files on AEM via some protocol from an external system or simply provide shareable links for them to be shown on AEM pages?
