I want to achieve a functionality to allow authors upload files to the content tree. Is there a API method already available which takes input as 1. local drive file path 2. content path, and uploads the file to destined content path? Basically i want to achieve the functionality that is already available at http://localhost:4502/miscadmin#/etc, where an author can upload a file using "New File" option, but this is not available for content tree.
I want this to be made available creating a separate component and page. Any help would be great.
