Permission for Pages and Components

I have given permission for Page 1 only jcr:read access, and Page 2 has read and write access, but when I tried copying the child pages under Page 1, it is not getting pasted under Page 2, But for the component this works, If i copy the component from Page1, it get pasted in Page 2.

Please check if you have permission node(rep:policy) node under the Page(cq:page) or jcr_content(cq:pageContent) node?

Page copy fails because it requires read access on the entire subtree under Page 1, whereas component copy only requires read access on the component itself.

Ensure the user has read access on all child nodes, including any rep:policy under jcr:content, or perform the operation via a service user with sufficient page-level permissions.
