Notfiy a custom user group when a page is created or modified

Hi,

I have a requirement where I have to notify an user group created by me when a page is created or modified. For this I have created a launcher which will launch the workflow. But I'm confused about the workflow steps. As part of first step I created a participant step and selected the group created by me. And is there a step which will only notify the users about page activation/updation? I'm not talking about the approval step. I just want the users to be notified.

Hi vitis90,

It is not good approach to use workflow in my opinion because not all author needs it as well page editing will have lot of updates.  Instead train authors to use of Notification subscription.
