Need a steps for resume and pause index.

Am new to aem can someone post the steps and recommended the process for pausing and resuming indexing in aem 6.3

Dear Gavyas,

You can use pause() and resume() methods in IndexStatsMbean to achieve your desired state.

These methods are found under /system/console/jmx as well as Java based API's.

I can see the pause and resume, but am not able to edit here, is this right place need to pause or resume .If yes pls  can you walk through me?

Sorry, what are you trying to edit?

To pause press pause() for resume press resume().
