Maven-Bundle Plugin in AEM 6.2

We're currently using maven-bundle plugin version 2.3.7 in our AEM 6.2 environment to create the OSGI packages. A new dependency we're planning to add isn't supported by this version as the dependency uses Java 9. What version of the plugin can we upgrade to for fixing this issue? What's the highest version of the plugin does AEM 6.2 support?

I am not sure about the dependency you're using but AEM 6.2 does not support Java 9.

More over AEM 6.2 has already reached its end of life, so I would highly recommend to look at upgrading to the latest version.

Thanks for the reply. The dependency we're trying to use is the Algolia Java API client.
