Issue with special charcaters getting replaced with bad chars in Livecopy pages

The Problem is whenever we are editing any text in the live copy pages the special characters present in the text content(-,' etc) is changing into bad(e;g :device's is changing to deviceâs) characters.

But whenever we are cancelling the inheritance i the text component and then updating the issue is not reproducible .The text component works fine in other pages but only with livecopy with locked components is the issue.

1. Create any live copy from an existing blue print.
2. Edit the text content and click Ok.
3. the special character (-,') changes to (â).

Seems like during translation somewhere missing encoding support. Engage official support channel to debug the issue.

Not seen such issue. Let us know

  1. Which version of aem?
  2. Are you access author through dispatcher?
  3. Are you using any machine translation during live copy?

Hi,

We are using AEM5.6

Through dispatcher and individual node also it gives same issue for this.

yeah we use translation and after the translated contents are back from Clay Tablet (Translation engine), we create a livecopy for those translated page.
