how to validate an user to a segment

Thanks for the response,

But i need to check if the user is matching with all the conditions in a segment.

for example if we take female segment or some other. my user need to pass all the condition available in the segment.

i have the user details i need to run them through the segment, and see if he is passing all of them.

please let me know if you are looking for more details.

After you perform user functionality, you can use the HttpServletResponse object (within a servlet) to return JSP. Look here for more details:

There is a Segment API located here:

This API is for AEM 6.

If you can get the same user on author then below steps will help:

1. open any content page of you site where client context is available.
2. open the client context modal
3. make sure your client context contains resolved segment Client context component (default one does contain it at the end)
4. impersonate the user to your required user and see the resolved segments change, it will list all the segments resolved for that user.

If you want to go via API then you can use read the value of CQ_Analytics.SegmentMgr.resolve("<%=segmentPath%>"). If it returns true then segment is resolved else not. There is also an API method - CQ_Analytics.SegmentMgr.getResolved();, but somehow it returns empty values all the time not sure.
