Hi @everyone,
I'm exploring Interactive Images in AEM — specifically the feature where you can enhance static images by dragging and dropping “shoppable” hotspots to create rich, engaging experiences.
I have a few questions:
I’m looking to create something similar to shoppable images — where clicking a hotspot reveals product info or links to PDP pages.
Any guidance or links to relevant docs will be really helpful!
Thanks in advance! 🙌

The Interactive Images feature, which allows authors to drag and drop “shoppable” hotspots on images, is primarily documented for AEM Assets and Dynamic Media and is available in AEM 6.5. It is not exclusive to AEM as a Cloud Service; you can implement similar functionality in local/on-premise AEM SDK instances like AEM 6.5.
Authors can add interactive hotspots through a dedicated Hotspot Management interface or editor within AEM Assets. The workflow typically includes:
Uploading an image banner to AEM Assets.
Using the Hotspot Management page or editor to drag and drop hotspots onto specific locations on the image.
Configuring each hotspot with actions such as hyperlinks, Quickview pop-ups showing product info, or Experience Fragments.
Previewing the interactive image to test hotspot behavior.
Publishing the interactive image asset for use on websites or in AEM Sites pages.
This process is integrated into the standard authoring interface, allowing authors to manage hotspots visually and configure associated content without coding

Thanks for your response. However, I’m not able to see the Viewer Preset under Tools > Assets, whereas it is visible in AEM as a Cloud Service.
