How to get the Publish instance connection from author in AEM6

Hi,

I want to access the Publisher instance from Author without Restful connection or http connection . Once I am able to connect I want the bundle status of publisher in author instance.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Can you please describe your use case in more detail. Looks like you want to get bundle status running on Pub instance and display on Author?

All the AEM instances are web based apps and I dont think so you can access them without http connection atleast !

Is there a way if I can write a sling servlet in publish instance to get the bundle running status and access the servlet from author instance.

There are various way you can achieve it. Example replication agents uses http connection .....     Your usecase does not look right, please let me know what will you do after get the status of bundle in author from publish instance?
