How to get the content back to author from publish instance

Hi Team,

I have published few content from author and it is available to publish instance.

now I have removed the content from author and I need to get the same content which is available in publish instance.

How to get the content back to author?

Hi, 

The easiest and recommended way is to log in to your publish instance and build a content package with the content that is missing in authoring. If you don't have access to your publish instance, you need to reach out to your admin. Even if this is AMS, they will be able to help you.

1st: This should not happen ...

2nd: All page/asset operations available in the AEM UI, which delete content, unpublish it first. That means it should not be present on publish anymore.

3rd: Have you tried the restore functionality in AEM UI (which should work consistently for pages, not sure about assets)
