Getting redirected to /favicon.ico on logging

Hi,

Whenevr I login, I am redirected to /favicon.ico page though the home page is configred as /welcome.html.

I am also getting a blank - authentication failed error.

Hi Shallu Rohilla, 

Make sure your host is configured in refferer filter  at http://<host>:<port>/system/console/configMgr/org.apache.sling.security.impl.ReferrerFilter

Sounds like something is not configured properly. Are you using Dispatcher as shown in this AEM documentation topic:

The configuration is correct in all the files. Refferer filter is also ok. What can be the issue that instead of redirecting to welcome.html it redirects to favicon.ico on login. However when i again type the site url after login or refresh it redirects to welcome page.
