Email notification customization - Community Forum - Voting component

Hi,

I have a requirement where the current user should get email notifications only when other users like his/her own Forum posts or replies.

When an other user replies to current user post and someone likes other user's reply, then the current user should not get e-mail notification.

How do I achieve this. Any pointer would be appreciated.

Though you need to write your own logic to get condition when email would be getting triggered.

Hi Arun,

I believe the e-mail notifications being triggered when any user creates/likes/replies to a post (in Forum) is the OOTB behavior of AEM Community, provided the user has configured to follow notifications/activities. We observe this behavior and is working fine.

However, I need to customize the OOTB behavior to send e-mail notifications on certain conditions as already mentioned.

I am new to AEM, please guide how to proceed.
