Dynamic Media - Documents Security

Avatar

Level 3

Hello, I would need some help if anyone knows the solution for the below ask.

Our client has published some of their secured documents to their Dynamic Media as part of their publishing process. Since the Dynamic Media open on public servers, they want to remove all of their documents from the Dynamic Media. They dont have all of the documents list, so they want to get removed all of the documents by specific MIME type.

Please let me know if this possible or any solutions

Adding to Saravanan's thoughts if you are looking for an immediate solution you can login to the classic app use advanced search to filter using the type and then remove all the documents.

once you clear the cache the documents will no longer be accessible.

@cxasha You have option to unpublish the assets from dynamic media from AEM "Manage Publication". Also you have the DM classic app tool where you can login to your DM repo and delete it too and clear the CDN cache. But it is a manual work of finding the mime type.

Even if you can query the mime type and find out all the assets, you may need to make a call to do "Unpublish From Dynamic Media" operation. I don't see it as workflow model like we see it for brand portal to invoke it as the bulk workflow process. Hopefully you can get some pointers from this
