Doubt related to Touch UI

Avatar

Hi ,

As per my knowledge going forward Adobe is not giving either support to classical Ui or completely going to get rid of the classical UI. Please ignore if this is not a relevant question but I have one doubt Is it going to stop/get rid of the siteadmin option as well going forward?

Thanks In Advance.

Yes. Would be encouraging Touch UI only.

Hi kautuksahni,

Thanks that helps I  got doubt because recently Adobe released a patch which is  "sp1-CFP4" which included the classical UI live copy status as in color mode same like old 5.6.* versions.

Is there any specific feature date decided to end all these Classical UI features in AEM?

Thanks

"Adobe is planning to deprecate the Classic UI with the AEM release planned for April 2018. The 2018 release of AEM will still contain the Classic UI as it is part of AEM 6.2/6.3 releases. Following that, Adobe is planning to remove the Classic UI from the AEM release in April 2019."
