I came across the Adobe Documentation for List Component where I see this option to display the list as teaser.

The current core component version I'm using is 2.7.0, where this option is not available in the list component.
Could someone let me know in which version of the core components this feature was added? I checked through the changelogs and was not able to find this information.

Additionally I would like to understand, if I upgrade my core components to the latest version, what all considerations I would have to take into account?
Is it something forward compatible considering I've made customizations to the site specific list component I'm utilizing?

The documentation is correct but the screenshot is wrong(maybe from v3) at https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-core-components/using/components/v2-compo...

if your current aem version is compatible with the version of the core component/list component then you can directly point your component to that version.

Thanks for your response. However, this is not what I'm looking for.
I'm on AEM 6.5.10 and the core component version I'm is 2.7.0. I'm not seeing the additional option in the list core component cq:dialog to enable the teaser option. When I check the component documentation it is part of list v2, and I'm also pointing towards the same, where the difference is the core component version.

What I would like to understand is from which version onwards the display as teaser has been added as part of list v2. And if I upgrade my core component version to that one, would there be any dependencies I would need to take care of.
