Deprecated api functionality of search

Hi Team, 

I want to know about the com.day.cq.wcm.commons.ReferenceSearch.search function. It seems, it is deprecated. How to use the new search function and params?

Are you sure it is deprecated? I was trying to check the documentation and see what I found -

Only setRepository is deprecated.

yes I agree with you @Prince_Shivhare . I have seen one more query on ReferenceSearch API and documents is saying only one method is deprecated.
