Dam publishing - Subassets are not copied from author to publish.

Hi guys.

We have encountered a strange problem in publishing our dam assets.

We do the following:

- Upload a pdf

- Start a custom workflow to extract subassets (split pdf into pages) and create a rendition of the sub asset. ( an image with size 800 x 600)

The result is in screenshot 1.

This works fine on our author server. However the sub assets is not copied to the publish server. And yes, we did try to deactive / reactivate the assets in the DAM.

Screenshot 2 shows the result on the publish server.

Is this a known bug?

How can we circumvent it?

Other suggestions are very welcome!

The screenshot uploaded viceversa and created confusion earlier.  Make sure to provide good name to screen it helps some time to avoid confusion :)

Which version of CQ?  In earlier 5.3 it use to work not tested with recent only.  Your structure looks right & should activate. Workaround use tree activation. Please file daycare.

If we run /etc/replication/treeactivation.html

The subtree gets activated (and in working order) as expected.
