Concerning AEM 6.1 or 6.2 Touch UI

As the article states, the naming convention is different for the Touch UI as for the classic UI.
Does anybody have an idea how to proceed to change the naming convention of the Touch UI to the same as the Classic UI.
The new naming convention seems to be a step backwards, as links will have special characters and spaces in the URL. It simply does not look professional and it leads to problems with the users.
Using a workflow to rename the asset, leads to problems for editors in the interface:
After creating the asset it will show the old name (with special characters and spaces) but the workflow renamed the asset already.
If the editor, then wants to edit the asset, he will get an error because the link points to the old name (which does not exist anymore).
