DAM Name Transformation while creating

Good Day everyone,

AEM 6.1. SP1,

Everything is done in the touch UI

When creating a page in /content/  while entering only a title and no name, a wizard/workflow transforms the following title "My Title éà" to "my-title-ea".

When uploading an asset in the /content/dam, the asset will be creating with the original name "My Title éà". This leads for us to some problems and we want the same name-transformation to happen also with dam uploads.

Is there any mechanism to do this or does a custom workflow has to be created. Could anyone point me in a good direction?

I am unclear on your use case. Why not fill out bame and title ftelds?

It is an extra step, if the author which uploads the Dam Asset has to change the name by himself from "My Title éà" to "my-title-ea".

The editor is not aware, that a link with spaces and extra characters does not look nice and professional. Or he might simply forget to change the name from time to time. 
 

An automatic system would be easier.
