Custom metadata for digital assets

Hi All,

Can you suggest what is the best way to add some custom metadata to some digital assets :

• For a bunch of digital assets to be migrated to AEM
• For new assets to be uploaded via a DAM admin

Asset share is one option or use bulk view http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/administer/content/assets/metadata-schemas.html.

OR you can configure custom workflow step to add that metadata during migration.
