Client Context malformed GET request

Avatar

This is occurring on our homepage: Zions Bank | Personal Banking | Savings | Checking | Loans

Since implementing client context on our site we have been seeing a GET request that appears to have an malformed Request URL:

https://www.zionsbank.com/null?path=%2Fcontent%2Fcampaigns%2Fzfnb-brand%2Fhomepagehero%2Fut-nonclien...

Notice the 'null' in the request URL. In the dev tools network tab in Firefox this is showing as 404 thus ending up in our error logs.  In Chrome it is showing up as a 'cancelled' request.

The request for the par that is loading our personalized content is working fine:

https://www.zionsbank.com/content/campaigns/zfnb-brand/homepagemessage/ut-nonclient/_jcr_content/par...

And everything appears to be functioning, but this erroneous call is concerning.

We are on AEM 6.1.

Is anyone else experiencing a similar issue?

Does anyone know the purpose or source of this request?

Thanks in advance for any help!

-Michael

This could be a bug. In newer versions of AEM - the use of ClientContext has been replaced with ContextHub.,

If you do not hear anything from the community - most community members are most likely using ContextHub, please open a ticket.
