Blueprint page or folder?

We are not aware of the implications/limitations on creating a BP mapping pages/subpages instead of folder/pages since we´ve found out that CQ’s restore capabilities has a constraint the fact  that you can only restore content under another page, and not under a folder.

Has anyone can clarify me this, please?

Hi,

As per my knowledge its limited to pages/subpages because to rollout the BP to Live Copy we configure rollout config where we configure the editmap and defines the mapping for sling:resourceType and cq:tempate

for example sling:resourceType#/(contentpage|homepage)#/mobilecontentpage,cq:template#/(contentpage|homepage)#/mobilecontentpage  (just an example)

and above configuration can not be done for folders.

I hope it helps you.

Thanks,

Pawan
