AEM6.4 Imag map not customisable

Hello,

I'm working on a image componet that uses the inplace image editor. I modifed the configuration so the button for map is available. In my tests I can drag an image and open the menue for image map. When I select a type an map appears inside the image area and opens a small bar above the drop zone.

Unfortunatly I'm unable to configure anything. The configuration dialog disappears immeditly.

I disabled all custom javascript libraries to avoid conflicts and side effects. The behavior is the same.
