Hi,
I am a beginner in AEM. I have one basic question. Can I make a full website in touch optimised UI with out using the classic one?
I have created templates and pages in both way. Now I want to create a web site with more than one pages and with menus. what should be my approach.
Hi,
"Can I make a full website in touch optimised UI with out using the classic one?"
From what I am aware of answer to the above is Yes.
Better to go with touch UI.
Adobe is planning to deprecate the Classic UI in AEM in April 2018[http://aem-docs.tostring.me/?d=/docs/en/aem/6-3/deploy/best-practices/ui-recommendations.html]
Hi,
Please have a look into this article which tells about steps wise to create a page:
https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/first_aem63_website.html
this is for AEM 6.3, however you can use logic for other AEM versions.
Let us know if you found any issue while creating a menu in AEM.

Thanks for your response. Can you pls help me with the tutorial or link where I can get the step by step procedure of creating website in touch optimised UI.
In the docs.adobe.com (https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-2/develop/the-basics/website-quick.html)
I am getting that but it contains the process in classic UI.

Hi,
CRXDE is your development tool. where you can create a component and templates. it is not something classic UI and Touch UI.
and in the example, page is created in touch UI only.
if you want to create a menu then you will use page component. it is not something classic or touch UI.
if you are going to create a content rendering component then you can make use of touch UI.

Hi prince,
I followed the step by step procedure from the link https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/first_aem63_website.html.
But after creating page it is coming as blank. screen shot attached. More over when we are creating the component. It is creating one JSP page contentpage.jsp.
Again we are creating the html pages. and what we are trying to see in webpage are written on body.html not on contentpage.jsp.
Please let me know what else I should do.
