I'm getting the following error message when I try to use the AEM Brackets Extension. I'm using Brackets Release 1.5 build 1.5.0-16538.
"unable to load one of the modules C:Users/Jackson/AppData/Roaming/Brackets/extensons/user/aem-sightly-brackets-extension/sly/node/SlyDomain, reason Cannotfind module 'request'

joe_s66, you should try blowing away the current install, and re-installing the plugins. If necessary, even re-install Brackets. In my limited experience, almost none of the plugins or extensions for Brackets, Eclipse etc. work right off, even when you follow the precise documentation available on the web, (e.g. Youtube, articles, blogs etc.). Also, make sure you are using the EXACT versions of the tools specified in the documentation that you find. Don't assume that you can use the latest version of Eclipse or Brackets etc., and get it working, (even though installing a plugin should be a relatively simple process).
Hi
Please follow the documentation :- https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/dev-tools/aem-brackets.html
Or
https://github.com/Adobe-Marketing-Cloud/aem-sightly-brackets-extension
Please let me know, if problem still persist.

Just faced the same thing,
Remove AEM extension and then restart Brackets without extension.
Then, make reinstall it
Sometimes all it needs is a "kick-start", change the AEM server location in project settings to http://localhost:4502/ and try to connect AEM, then try without it.
I found this error happens when u change project or try to launch a project without jcr_root file
Hope it worked,
