Abstract

Whenever we talk about account lock functionality, we know that once failed attempt limit reached, lock the account for certain time.
Can we achieve similar functionality in AEM? But there is no OOTB feature for the same.
But it is achievable after enabling SSO with LDAP. I have enabled SSO with LDAP and I have integrated AEM 6.5.9 with Apache Directory Studio 2.0.0-M14 -

1. Here we could see I have created 3 users in LDAP apache directory studio -

2. Here I will show the Password Policy, which was activated by default.
There is an entry containing all the configuration values for the Password Policy, under the DN “ou=passwordPolicies, ads-interceptorId=authenticationInterceptor, ou=interceptors, ads-directoryServiceId=, ou=config”, which corresponds to the following hierarchy:
