AEM 6.5.6 - Sidekick not visible

Hello!

I have reviewed different post about this theme here and I have tried these suggestions:

1. Import init.jsp on my application (head.jsp)

2. Assign as preference "Classic UI" to admin user.

If I use cf, sidekick appears and keep it, but if instance is restarted, sidekick is hidden again.

Is it possible to keep sidekick always visible?

Thanks!!

Hi @abcr1 ,

You are using latest version of AEM. In this version pages will open in touch UI.

Its recommended to use always touch UI. If you want to use side kick, you have to add cf# every time when you open the page.

Regards,

Sandeep.

As you are already using the latest version and all the lower versions are in the process of upgrade, it is always advisable to use touch UI instead of tweaking. Please try to educate the client on the best practices of AEM on how easy to use the touch UI version along with benefits compared to the classic version.

Hello, finally is possible to configure classic view by default on Felix Console, by default on AEM 6.5 is TOUCH.
