AEM 6.4 parsys issue

Hi Team,

 

Hope you all are fine and safe.

 

AEM version: 6.4.2

 

Issue:  With the admin user, I am able to add components in parsys but with other users "+" sign does not appear. 

 

 

What would be missing here?

Hi @arvind-1 

 

The user should have "Modify" and "Create" access for the project in /content/project path. If you need delete permission then "Delete" also should be checked.

By default "admin" user the complete access which is why you are able to add the component, but the current user does not have the required permission. 

Please check the user permission in http://localhost:4502/useradmin and update the permission. You should be able to see the "+" symbol to add the component after that.

        @bhuwan_b, Thank you for your kind reply. I would like to describe more about my issue: That specific user is not able to add any component in parsys. but at the same time, same user is able to edit all existing component in the same Page. We have already assigned required permission/group. We created a new user and assigned same set of permission that above User have, and with the new user is able to add new components as well as edit existing one.
