Hi tc82,

What version of AEM are you using? Have you configured as per the documentation: http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/administer/integration/marketing-cloud/target.html#Creating a Target Configuration in AEM ?

Going through the documentation, at what step precisely does it not work?

Alva

Hello Alva,

I have followed the steps mentioned in the document. Here are issues which am facing.

1. we are using aem 6.0 version

2. The campaigns which have created are not sent to the adobe target.

our replication queue is blocked, we are seeing some exception for getlastmodified function.

3. we want to edit the cleint context, the framework given by default.

4. for our custom websites we are not able to see the cleintcontext in the side kick. seeing the message"Component clientcontext is missing or misplaced."

all these issues are stopping us to move forward for critical release.

any help would be appreciated.

Hi tc82,

Are you able to connect to Adobe Target via the cloud services configuration? Do you have the correct rights on the Target account?

For replication issues, this might help: http://helpx.adobe.com/marketing-cloud/experience-manager/faq_aem.html

You may want to file a bug with Adobe Support at http://helpx.adobe.com/marketing-cloud/experience-manager.html see Create a support ticket.

To help you with Adobe Target integration in AEM, here are answers to your questions:

  1. Configuring Replication Agent for Adobe Target:

    • You need to configure the Replication Agent in AEM to publish content to Adobe Target. Ensure that you have the Adobe Target Connector configured and the replication agent points to your Adobe Target instance.
    • Typically, this involves setting up a publish endpoint for the integration. Once set up, AEM content can be sent to Adobe Target when campaigns or activities are created.
  2. Changing Client Content in the Framework:

    • AEM provides a framework to integrate with Adobe Target. To change client content, you can make use of the Target API or use AEM’s Target components to implement personalized experiences. You will need to ensure the Target components are properly placed in the page and integrated with the AEM page content.
  3. Enabling Adobe Target for Components:

    • To enable Adobe Target in AEM, you need to ensure that the Adobe Target Integration is set up correctly.
    • If you are not seeing the Experience options upon right-clicking components, ensure the Adobe Target Experience Cloud integration is installed and activated. Additionally, you might need to configure the Target Profiles or set up Experience Fragments for the components to be available in the Target options.

Make sure to check the Adobe Target documentation and AEM's Target integration guide to ensure all steps are followed correctly.
