If you want to use Launch functionality to change a template of a page that has sub-pages are using the launch functionality, then the subpages are deleted when you have include sub-pages toggle on.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create Launch of a page having subpages
2. Select the page and leave the "Include subpages" toggle on, then Next.
3. Give a launch title and select the "using a new template to replace the page" option, then Next.
4. Select different template and create the Launch
5. Goto corresponding launch page and "Promote Launch" and continue with promote full launch.
6. It shows the page's modified whereas all the subpages are deleted.

| Improved/Expected Behavior: |
a) don't have the switch "include subpages" in the launch dialog so that you avoid this effect. This means that you can change the template only for one page at once.
b) if you have the option "include subpages", the main page and the sub pages are converted to a new template
