To Enable code editor option in AEM forms

Hi Team,

While creating Adaptive form we are unable to see the code editor option for our custom user group.

Since we are not using OOTB feature like "forms-user" and "forms-power-users" group because the group contains lot of permission that we not supposed to provide access to our customers. So we like to know the specific permission to enable the code editor option without using forms-power-user group.

It will be helpful if we get any guidance on this.

Hi, code-editor feature in rule-editor is enabled for user if the user is a member of forms-script-writers group or af-template-script-writers group. Else code-editor feature in rule-editor is disabled for the non-admin user.

Also, you can give access/revoke access to rule-editor itself by following: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-65/content/forms/adaptive-forms-advanc...

Please note that code-editor is only available for foundation-component form. If you are using core-component based form then only visual editor is available in rule-editor.
If you are on AEM cloud service then code-editor is not available in rule editor for foundation or core-component form.
