Print HTML5 form

Hi,

looking for a custom profile sample for HTML5 forms with buttons in the header i.e save, save as draft, print.

We are also looking for best practices for printing HTML5 forms.

We have in past just submitted the data and created a flat PDF to send back to the user for printing or as a DOR.

Regards

Tommy

I think how you have been printing would be the recommended approach to printing any customer facing document of record. You are already working in the XDP so you can target both HTML5 and PDF logic in the same template via Javascript.

I wouldn't recommend printing from the browser as the form isn't always completely loaded in the browser so there is a chance you wouldn't be able to capture the whole form and the data in the printout.

Hi,

I know. I was just trying to see if someone had done something creative to reduce the number of steps to print, when/if the customer decide to go all-in with HTML5.
