Option for PDF/A?

Not on AEM yet, but am researching possibility for converting forms to PDF/A. What are my options? In previous years, went route of designing forms, printing to flat PDF, adding form fields. Much too cumbersome. Then went to ES3, where I still am.

So basically the same - from "LiveCycle" to Acrobat to PDF/A? No direct passage?

Different q, just out of curiosity - will be PDF output be editable?
