IE11 Download css as Content-Type text/html

Using AEM 6.3 JEE forms (Windows - JBOSS - TurnKey installation)

Intent to change the default login page for workspace users. When i created a new css page the Content-Type in IE11 is downloaded as text/html. (Windows 10 - IE 11)

I also tried using the ClientLib in the JSP pages link to the etc/design section, but the compile css is still text/html instead of text/css.

[not sure if this is the answer] Somewhere is read about a setting in the dispatcher "ModMimeUsePathInfo".  Not sure where this is configured as we currently directly call the AEM forms server and not using a dispatcher.

I runt the same in Firefox & Chrome. Both no issues. Clear cash, run on different machine, all to no avail.

Yes, ModMimeUsePathInfo must be configured.

Hi Eric,

If we leave Dispatcher for a moment, does the custom login page and it's client libs work properly on the author?

This scenario if the for the JEE solution. We have not installed author or publisher, but are using the AEM on Jboss (formally LiveCycle)

Hi Eric,

Here is one article that we had for customizing the HTML WS login screen, can you please validate the steps with the one mentioned here.

Thank you for your reply. The referenced article is what we use. We encounter this issue from the moment we start testing the new login page.

Not sure if we did it correctly as is does ask us to copy the content folder in b. and then delete the contents of the core folder. Which is the newly created 'content' folder.

  1. Replicate the hierarchical structure: of /libs/livecycle/core/content at /apps/livecycle/core/content. Maintain the same (node/folder) properties and access control.
  2. Copy the content folder: from /libs/livecycle/core to /apps/livecycle/core.
  3. Delete the contents of /apps/livecycle/core folder.

Hi Mayank

Sorry for the delay, here the link: https://s3-ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/modus-public-access/SGIP.ui.apps-0.1-TEST.zip

1. We copied (using CRXDE) the login screen objects from LIBS to APPS

2. Used VLT to download this into our ARCHTYPE project in eclipse

3. Compile and generate the ZIP

4. Deleted all the Login code from CRXDE APPS folder.

5. Restarted AEM

6. Use Packages upload and install the ZIP
