When transitioning from a legacy DAM to AEM Assets, it's vital to grasp the nuanced distinctions among Tag Hierarchies, Taxonomies, and Folders. Despite their surface similarities, my recent project underscored that a seamless 1:1 migration isn't feasible when the underlying system paradigms diverge.
