WE areusing AEM Digital Asset Management for saving various types of documents like .pdf, .jpeg, .doc etc. We need to associate metadata properties to the documents like country, plant. The data for plant and country program is not static and it changes. The gold source for this type of data is from eb services available on the data hub. So we need to connect to the web service and display options to select in the Asset Edit form. We are able to create OSgi services to connect to web service. OSgi services are working and able to deploy to AEM server and test it. But we are not able to display data on the Digital Asset edit form.

We have created Custom property that can be added to Digital Asset edit form from metadata schema editor. In that screen we have a custom property called country field, which is overlayed with drop down field. But we don’t know how to integrate the custom field component with data coming from web service. IT has to be dynamic and have values around more than 100. Every time asset edit form displayed to to the user, the options should come from webservice.
Please help us resolve.
