Assigning an image rendition for thumbnail for a zip file

Is it possible to specify a specific image file to be used for a zip file?  For example, when we ingest .eps files, we specify a .png to be the thumbnail rendition.  trying to do this with a zip file has not been successful.  6.3 SP1.
