I'm working on TraceShipments.com, an online parcel delivery tracking tool. We're utilizing AEP for data management and want to enhance the user experience by integrating a map component that displays shipment locations in real-time.

While I'm comfortable with front-end development, I'm seeking guidance on the best practices for achieving this integration with AEP. Are there any specific AEP extensions, SDKs, or documentation resources that can help us efficiently connect our front-end code with AEP data to visualize shipment locations on a map?

I’m working on something similar for locateparcels.com, and what helped was structuring shipment events in a clean XDM schema and streaming them through the AEP Edge Network. Using a small middleware service to pass only the needed location data to the map made the front‑end much smoother. AEP’s Web SDK guides were useful for getting that flow right.
