| | exporting PDF and saving the file, then close and upload to a server. |
| What are you trying to achieve? | Not have the crash, ideas where to look. |
What’s the problem or error? | A customer gets a crash and I am unsure what is making InDesign crash, I have repeated the same steps which I do with same version of InDesign and plugin and do not get the issue. Crash is in the keyboard focus (DVHostedWidgetView::PrivateImpl::KeyfocusChangeCallback), I have a dialog which when OK is pressed the code will export 2 PDF's and upload to server, then saves and close the InDesign file. The close will upload the file to the server. After all this is finished the user changes app focus and then InDesign crashes. |
| What have you tried so far? | Work arounds are to have other files open, or do not change the app focus.
I have tried changing where the save and close InDesign document is called, ie not calling when the dialog is open. |
