#Understanding Package Deployment In Adobe Campaign

Adobe Campaign has an option to import or export the platform configuration through a package system. Packages can contain different kinds of configurations, elements, filtered or not. While exporting or importing the package, if we miss some elements; or during import if we import the packages in a wrong order that could crash the entire configuration. While importing a package the package should be of the same build as the instance, if the build is different we should update the instance first.

In adobe campaign when we export a package, we have an option to export the package based on namespaces or just schema, forms, Hierarchies, web apps, Scripts, Workflows, Campaigns etc.

When several people are working on the same platform, with a good number of features, there is a possibility for the specifications folder to be not very clear. To learn about how to organize and manage the packages refer here.

The Adobe Campaign implementation guides serve as a one stop shop for all implementation needs. For more information, refer to following thread https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2357258
